Buffalo introduce 8GB modules

Buffalo has unveiled 8GB SODIMM RAM modules in Japan. The modules use the 204 pin SODIMM form factor which is intended for mobile computing or low end desktop systems and the 240 pin DIMM form factor aimed at desktop systems. The modules run at stock voltages of 1.5 while achieving JEDEC DDR3-1333 MHz standards with timings of CAS 9.

Both modules have a staggering price tag of $340 and are currently available in Japan only. Buffalo bundles software tools with both these RAM modules.
