Bullguard Tops Independent Antivirus Software Testing

Bullguard Top Of The Charts For Home Antivirus Protection

With so many antivirus programs on offer, it can sometimes be difficult to know which one is the best for you. A good way to make an educated choice would be to check a website which specialises in testing antivirus software and in that regard there are very few that carry the same level of confidence that AV-Test does.

In the latest batches of tests (which included 19 different antivirus software), Bullguard has been rated as one of the best with a perfect 18 out of 18 score. In addition, it has also been awarded the AV-Test Top Product award.

How Does The Testing Work?

Their review of the products is based on 3 categories with a highest possible score of 6 in each. These including the following;

  • Protection – How well it identifies and deals with threats.
  • Performance – How quickly or efficiently it performs its task.
  • Usability – How easy it is for a user to operate and, in addition, navigate the menus.

Top Of The Class

Scoring a perfect score is clearly very impressive. Particularly when (as you can see below) that Bullguard has beaten many of it’s notable (and widely used) competitors. In these ever increasingly worrying times over computer security, perhaps you should consider Bullguard a try. In terms of performance, protection and usability, it clearly cannot be beaten!

What do you think? Which antivirus do you use? In addition, if it’s not Bullguard, will you consider trying it out now? – Let us know in the comments!
