Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Announced with Trailer, Available on Game Pass at Launch

During the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, we got our first look at Call of Duty Black Ops 7, the upcoming shooter from Activision.

The trailer starts with a robot introducing the “Guild” and explaining the technology used by this company to save lives. However, when the character touches a screen where a butterfly has landed, they discover a chaotic sci-fi world falling apart.

The Trailer of Call of Duty Black Ops 7

The main character in the trailer is played by Milo Ventimiglia (known for “Gilmore Girls” and “Heroes”), and he will be the central character in the game’s story mode.

The official description states: “The year is 2035 and the world is on the brink of chaos, ravaged by violent conflict and psychological warfare following the events of the fan-favorite titles Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. Wielding cutting-edge technology, the Black Ops team led by David Mason must fight back against a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else.”

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will launch sometime in 2025 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. While the trailer doesn’t mention specific platforms, we can expect the game to be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
