Return to Verdansk?
The promotion has the slogan “drop back in,” suggesting the possibility of returning to the famous Verdansk map, which remains one of the most popular maps among Call of Duty: Warzone players. Verdansk first launched five years ago alongside the initial version of the battle royale game and is about to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
The coincidence of the five-year anniversary is one of the key reasons why rumors about the return of Verdansk have started circulating. The map’s return could happen on March 20, 2025, and the fact that this themed merchandise is arriving might lend some credibility to these rumors.

The Call of Duty merchandise store is showing an advertisement page for the mysterious Verdansk Collection, featuring an illustration clearly referencing the map, including iconic elements like the dam and the crashed airplane in the snow.
This could simply be a merchandise release, but since the fifth anniversary of Verdansk is around March 20, it’s possible that Activision might take advantage of this milestone to bring back the map in Call of Duty: Warzone in the near future.
