Capcom Reveals Best-Selling Games

Capcom has released its updated list of Platinum Titles, showcasing its best-selling games of all time as of December 31, 2024. Monster Hunter: World remains the top-selling game, reaching 28 million copies sold (21.3 million without the Master Edition, which includes the Iceborne expansion). It is followed by Monster Hunter Rise, which has sold 16.7 million copies.
Even years after their initial release, these games continue to sell well. In the last quarter of 2024 alone, Monster Hunter: World sold 400,000 copies of the base game and 900,000 copies of Iceborne. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak expansion saw an increase of 700,000 and 600,000 copies sold, respectively.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Nears the Top 10

For comparison, the much newer Dragon’s Dogma 2 sold only 200,000 copies in the last quarter, bringing its total to 3.5 million since launch, placing it 32nd on Capcom’s best-sellers list. In contrast, Resident Evil 4 Remake performed exceptionally well, selling 1.2 million copies in the last fiscal quarter alone. Its total sales have now reached 9.2 million copies, making it the 11th best-selling Capcom game.
