Despite the fact that we are now over 6 months on from the initial release of Cyberpunk 2077, I think many would agree that while definite improvements have been brought to the game with patches, overall, the experience within Night City still isn’t anything close to being flawless. – Following a report via DSOGaming, however, if you are sticking with Cyberpunk 2077, but are still finding more than a few annoying bugs cropping up, then developer CD Projekt Red has just confirmed which issues seem to be the most commonly reported.
We should note that the current list provided is based upon the 1.23 patch, which was released earlier this month. As such, these are 100% still problems that reside within the game despite the fact that this is, roughly speaking, about the 5th relatively significant patch released for the game. – Based on what we can see, however, it seems that primarily speaking, the biggest issues within Cyberpunk 2077 still largely reside more within the remits of ‘broken’ quests rather than graphical bugs or technical glitches. Albeit, plenty of them still exist for sure!
The one thing that did catch my attention was what sits at the top of the list. I think I’m right in saying that this is one of the most commonly reported bugs found in the game since it was released. Given that this quest is part of the main storyline within the game (in other words, you can’t dodge this), it was supposedly fixed several months ago. It would, however, appear that this technically game-breaking bug is still giving plenty of people problems.
One key factor to note within the list is that all of the problems listed are in regards to quests rather than any specific performance problems within Cyberpunk 2077. Although CD Projekt Red is clearly looking to address all the above within the next patch, on the whole, it doesn’t bode well if you were hoping that a fresh update was on the way in order to bring further stability and enhancements to the game. With it already going back on the PlayStation Store, part of me is wondering whether development on Cyberpunk 2077 might be starting to wind down to a conclusion.
