Chieftec Provides Type-C USB Upgrade To Several Popular Gaming PC Cases

Chieftec has updated several of its popular Gaming PC cases with new USB Type-C ports.

New Upgraded Type-C Front I/O Ports

The popular Scorpion 3, Scorpion 4, Stallion 2 and Stallion 3 PC cases from Chieftec have been updated to now feature USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C ports with speeds of up to 20Gbps. The new upgraded versions are designed to provide the enhanced functionality and data transfer speeds of the USB Type-C connection and will be available through June and July with a transition period with the old and new type-C cases on the market. The new Type-C cases will have “UC” in the model number to separate from the old case and the company has not specified whether the prices will change.
