Chieftronic M2 Micro ATX Gaming Case Review

Chieftec has been a bit of a slow burner in the PC case market, making fairly modest, if somewhat retro products for some time now. However, they’ve been making a strong comeback recently with their Chieftronic gaming range. New power supplies, such as the Steel Power 750W, new gaming gear and fans, cases and more are putting them in a more competitive position. With that in mind, I have their new M2 Gaming Cube Case in for review today, and it looks like it may be one of their greatest cases today. It’s certainly ticking all the modern gaming case boxes, with ARGB lighting, tempered glass and more.

Features

The Chieftronic M2 Cube Case sounds like it’s got potential, with a stylish micro-ATX form factor, a high-airflow mesh front panel, powerful ARGB fans pre-installed, and room for good size radiators in both the front and top of the case, should you wish to use AIO or custom loop cooling hardware. There’s also a pair of tempered glass windows, allowing you to showcase your latest PC build. Really, that’s about all I want in a case these days, compact, stylish and some nice accent lighting. So, with that in mind, let’s dive in for a closer look at what it has to offer!

  • Mesh front panel for optimized airow
  • 3x A-RGB Rainbow Fans pre-installed
  • 2x Tempered glass for perfect view of system
  • Supports 280mm radiator in front & 240mm radiator on top

What Chieftec Had to Say

“The Chieftronic M2 is the next upgraded iteration of the original M1 gaming cube case for significantly improved performance. The newly designed front panel incorporates mesh for optimized airflow, the increased number of stock fans to 3 pieces and the added support for 240mm radiator in the top panel, in addition to the front support for 280mm radiator, makes the M2 a very capable case for a high-performance gaming rig. Side panels made from tempered glass allow a clean view of the installed system and the case comes with a certified A-RGB control hub, ensuring M/B sync compatibility with: ASUS™ Aura, ASRock™ RGB Sync, MSI™ Mystic Light Sync and Gigabyte™ RGB Fusion.” – Chieftec
