A Closer Look – Interior

With the side panels removed, you can see there’s actually quite a lot of space inside the M2 Cube. Because the motherboard tray is flat, it means you can easily pass components and cables from either side of the case, and that’s going to make for a very easy build process.

There are pre-installed standoffs for the mini-ITX motherboards, but extras are included for mATX motherboards.

There’s a cable routing hole here, and a small CPU cooler mounting cut-out.

The HDD bays in the front also provide some cable grommets for easy routing.

There are two tool-free 3.5″ trays installed here. However, if you don’t want this bay, it can be entirely removed, giving you room to install things like radiators in the front.

There’s a second storage bay in the rear of the case, which supports 2.5″ drives, and this bay is also removable should you need it out of the way.

The two pre-installed fans are both ARGB and come with all black cables, so they do look very presentable. You can change them out if you wanted, but I certainly wouldn’t want to, as I think they look great! The rear fan is a 120mm model, and that’s also ARGB so things should look pretty slick once the power is turned on.

Furthermore, all the fans and lighting are handled by this lovely little hub that’s tucked into the bottom of the case. I love this, as it means fewer cables need to be connected to your motherboard. It’s easier and results in a cleaner-looking build.
