Fan Speed

Although not coming with any kind of ‘hybrid’ fan functionality, the truth is that the Chieftronic Steel Power doesn’t really need it. Based on the results found in our testing, it would suggest that the fan is configured to run at (pretty much) 3 set speeds depending on the overall output. Around 575 RPM at low, 625 RPM at medium, and 700 RPM at maximum.

Based on this, the noise output from this PSU is remarkably low and if you value a quiet system build, then this should definitely represent an excellent component for that overall ethos.
