While this may not be an extreme gaming laptop, the GTX 1060 still packs a punch for some gaming on the go. Deus Ex is no easy game to run, but we still go an average of 55.3FPS, which is more than playable. You could always drop the settings a tiny bit more to hit that glorious 60FPS if you’re so inclined.
No frame rate troubles for Tomb Raider, as it rocketed to 82FPS average. If anything, you could turn the graphics quality up here quite a bit, with room to spare.
Despite being one of the most demanding games we run, 64.6FPS is a fantastic score. I do believe the Core i7 is playing a very big part in getting this game up to speed, but either way, smooth frame rates ahead!
To complete the gaming tetralogy, Far Cry primal scored a very nice 71FPS. While the GTX 1070 equipped P56XT pulls ahead, at 1080P, the GTX 1060 in the Samurai is more than enough.
