CM Storm Sentinel Advance II Gaming Mouse Review

The mouse has been tested in the 3 main category of games:

Strategy

First up was the newly released point and click, hack and slash adventure, Diablo III. The mouse was very comfortable to use and glides nicely over the surface, the buttons don’t require a lot of effort for activation but have a very strong click so there is no doubting yourself. The TX buttons and macros came in very handy and allowed you to set up attack chains to be released on a single click, which is good for increasing your damage/healing output in the game and ultimately, lets you cut down on the amount of fast placed clicks that you have to make which will ultimately lengthen the life span of this mouse.

MMO

The MMO of choice was World of Warcraft, where the mouse really helped also, allowing you to make macros and extra actions to be able to reduce on clicks and really increase the efficiency of your attack/healing chain and increase DPS.

The same is apparent for World of Warcraft, and Diablo III, being handy to assign action bar buttons to the virtual buttons on the mouse.

FPS

The FPS of choice was Team Fortress 2 and Brink. Upon loading, I did find the sensitivity to be very high, and had to turn the DPI down quite low, but again that is probably down to personal preference, as you can have the mouse set to any dpi between 200 and 8200. The mouse behaves very smoothly and promptly, you feel like you have the right tool for the job in hand.

It must be said also that the mouse used in conjunction with the CM Storm Speed-RX pad gave the mouse a wonderfully smooth glide and exceptional response in use.
