The other key areas that are worth focussing on though comes down to VRM temperatures, which can differ wildly depending on the amount, the capacity of the current that can pass through them, and of course how the various heatsinks handle that power, which in turn, creates heat.
I was a little surprised to see the VRM was so much warmer on this motherboard, but at the same time, it also had some of the best gaming performance we’ve seen, so perhaps it’s not a terrible tradeoff in the end, but you could likely maintain and improve performance by ensuring the motherboard VRM gets some good airflow too.
