COLORFUL iGameGTX1080 X-TOP-8G Advanced Introduced

Shenzen based Colorful Technology Company Limited has released their most powerful GeForce GTX 1080 video card yet in the iGameGTX1080 X-TOP-8G Advanced. Featuring their trademark Silver Shark cooler previously seen in the iGameGTX1070 X-TOP, the new iGameGTX1080 X-TOP-8G is able to keep temperatures cool while operating with very little noise. These 80mm and 90mm fans on the Silver Shark cooler are also quite intelligent, operating only when temperature is detected to reach beyond 62C.  The heatsink itself uses a 5-heatpipe heatsink nickel plated for a premium look.

“Featuring Colorful’s unique, in-house designed Silver Shark cooler, the Colorful iGameGTX1080 X-TOP-8G Advanced delivers unhindered performance so you enjoy the latest and greatest games in 4K Ultra HD or in virtual reality all while enjoying the cool and quiet cooling that only Colorful can bring.”

In addition to the Silver Shark shroud on the iGameGTX1080 X-TOP-8G, it is also equipped with an advanced backplate for added PCB integrity and strength, preventing sag and for evenly distributing heat across a larger area, which the ambient airflow in the case can take away. With an 8+2 phase digital power design, it should be a very good overclocker as well so all those extra cooling feature comes in handy.
