COLORFUL Launches GeForce RTX 4070 Cards

COLORFUL has revealed the cards that they will be launching for the new RTX 4070 including a full liquid-cooled card.

The RTX 4070 is now available with an MSRP of $599, it features an AD104-250 chip with 5888 CUDA cores at a base clock of 1920 and a boost of 2475. The card features 12GB of GDDR6X on a 192-bit bus providing a bandwidth of 504 GB/s and a TDP of 200W. Our full review of the card can be read here. As with every GPU release, we also get various cards from other AIBs in various designs with different cooling capabilities so let’s have a look at what’s on the market from COLORFUL.

iGame GeForce RTX 4070 Vulcan OC

The COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 4070 Vulcan OC adapts the new design shared with other RTX 40 Vulcan Series that features the improved Hurricane Scythe Blade fans, the iGame Smart LCD, and the Hallow Back Panel that provides a flow-through airflow design. The highlight of the Vulcan series is the iGame smart detachable LCD screen which can be used to display images and gifs or for real-time monitoring of temperatures and performance. The design of the Vulcan is a mixture of black and grey and features many jagged edges. All in all, I quite like the design which comes in at a length of 348.5mm

Hurricane Scythe Blades: Three 100mm Hurricane Scythe Blade fans delivering fan heat dissipation with its improved airflow compared to the previous-generation fan blade design. iGame Smart LCD: A removable magnetic display that can be mounted on the graphics card or on the included display dock. The display has a resolution of 800x216px – fully customizable via the iGame Center app to display real-time monitoring figures, custom images, GIFs, and others.
Display Dock: The display dock is an external docking accessory that users can place on their desk or on top of the chassis that holds the iGame Smart LCD. The display dock connects the display via a USB cable.
Vulcan Support Frame: The Vulcan Support Frame enhances the stability and structural rigidity of the entire graphics card. This eliminates the risk of bending and warping as it supports the weight of the card.
Hollow Back Panel: A hollow back panel design that allows airflow to freely pass-through the heatsink. This design greatly improves heat dissipation compared to conventional GPU air cooling designs.
iGame Accessories: The Vulcan Series comes with a set of accessories including the Screen Wipes, White Gloves, and Screwdriver

iGame GeForce RTX 4070 Neptune OC

Next up is the iGame Neptune OC which features an all-in-one cooling solution with a 240mm radiator to deliver excellent heat dissipation. Neptune’s superior cooling solution allows for it to have a higher factory overclock up to 2640MHz. The design of this card utilises a matte silver finish and two RGB light strips providing ambient lighting. This card will be ideal in an all-white or silver look and as far as AIO GPUs go, it is a nice design and comes in at a length of 253.5mm

iGame GeForce RTX 4070 Advanced OC

The Advanced OC card features the new Gravity Rim central fan with the new Hurricane Scythe blade design with RGB lighting surrounding the RIM. This is one of the more unique designs with its mixture of Silver and black providing a sharp contrast. A part of me likes the design but a part of me doesn’t. This card comes in at a length of 343.5mm.

Gravity Rim: A redesigned version of the iGame Energy Core thatcreates a mysterious black hole effect.
Meteorite Backplate: A sturdy metal backplate that reduces PCB flexing. An intricate iGame grille design is added to the backplate’s hollow back to add aesthetics.
·Hurricane Scythe Blades: New fan blade design that delivers superior airflow compared to the previous-generation Storm Chaser fan design. The Advanced OC uses two 100mm fans and a 96mm center fan.

iGame GeForce RTX 4070 Ultra W

The Ultra W is the more in-your-face design from COLORFUL with a holographic shroud that displays different colours in different angles and is complemented with RGB lighting and comes at a length of 324.9mm. I hate it, but I respect its uniqueness.

ULTRA Cooling: A triple-fan cooler design with four 6-diameter copper heat pipes fitted with three 90mm cooling fans.

Geforce RTX 4070 NB EX

The COLORFUL RTX 4070 NB EX Battle-AX is the low-end offering with a triple fan cooling solution cooling the enlarged heatsink with 2 6mm copper heat pipes. The Battle-AX features a simple squared black design with two red accents for those that want something simple and in turn reflects the value of the card with it being the only offering from COLORFUL at MSRP.

Battle Ax Backplate: Improved backplate design that provides structural rigidity and passive heat dissipation.
RGB Lighting: An RGB-illuminated COLORFUL branding on the side that’s customizable using the iGame Center app.
