Computex: Gigabyte Show Off Impressive Z87N-WIFI Motherboard

Gigabyte’s Wi-Fi mini-ITX motherboard from the Z77 series was a pretty big hit and they look to be carrying this success forward with the GA-Z87N-WIFI for Intel’s new Haswell platform. Like other Gigabyte N-WIFI motherboards this motherboard uses a 17cm by 17cm mini ITX form factor. It supports Intel’s fourth generation “Haswell” core processors. Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable 4 components mean you should be good to go on overclocking as the quality is there to support it.

Gigabyte have opted to equip both Intel WiFi and WiDi (wireless display) technology in addition to Bluetooth 4.0. Gigabyte are using their Hybrid digital power engine and UEFI DualBIOS. There is Gigabyte’s On/Off charge to speed up charging of USB devices which there is also dual LAN something that is very impressive and useful on a mini ITX motherboard especially if you want to use it as the basis of a networked file server or storage system. There are four SATA III ports native to the Z87 chipset and dual HDMI 1.4 and single DVI-I make up the display connectivity.
