Computex: Sapphire Showcase Their HD 7950 Mac Edition Graphics Card

For those of you who follow our news you may have already heard about the Sapphire HD 7950 Mac Edition graphics card released about three months ago. At Computex today Sapphire were showing this sleek looking card off. Essentially the HD 7950 Mac Edition by Sapphire is now the fastest Mac compatible AMD graphics card you can get your hands on if you are a Mac owner.

Previously AMD users were limited by the HD 5870 which was the fastest Mac compatible AMD GPU for a very long time. Now with the HD 7950 Mac Edition from Sapphire the capabilities of Macs in terms of 3D Gaming and 3D workloads is dramatically increased.

This certainly isn’t new technology but its great to see Sapphire bringing a little bit of “PC Awesomeness” to the rather closed Mac environment.
