Conan Exiles Official Servers Down – Time for an Upgrade!

Conan Exiles may have only just gone into Early Access on Steam, but the game’s already been running into some problems with their online servers. The problem isn’t particularly clear, however, but they’ve begun moving from their servers with PingPerfect. The game’s official servers were taken offline, and Funcom is now seeking a new partner for the game.
It’s not entirely clear what went on, but connectivity problems were a big problem for a lot of gamers, although much of that seems to be down to the game its self, rather than the host in particular. Around 200 servers are now offline but with technically thousands of unofficial servers to play on, we doubt there’s going to be any significant issues for most players. Funcom’s game is still in early access, so for them to make changes like this so early on isn’t too surprising.
Also, the 25% Lifetime Discount deal is now gone (but old purchases will be honoured), most likely as they seek to recover costs from moving providers.
