Control Resonant Will Run at 60 FPS on Consoles, Remedy Says It “Plays Well” on PS5 Pro
We are getting closer and closer to the launch of Control Resonant, the ambitious action RPG from Remedy Entertainment. The Finnish studio has revealed new details about what we can expect from the console versions of the game starring Dylan Faden.
During an interview with Wccftech, Senior Level Designer Arhi Makkonen revealed that yes, Control Resonant can be played at 60 frames per second on consoles if players select Performance mode.
Control Resonant Is Optimized for PS5 Pro
The game will offer the classic choice on Xbox Series X and PS5, with both Performance and Quality modes, with the latter focused more on graphical quality than smooth gameplay. “You can decide which one you want,” Makkonen concluded.
As for PS5 Pro, the answer is more unclear. Control Resonant is optimized for Sony’s mid-generation platform, but Makkonen could not provide details about resolution, performance, or PSSR support. “It plays well, but I don’t have the actual figures to give you,” he said. The hope is that Remedy can use the weeks still remaining before launch to provide more details about this.
Remedy has also confirmed that Control Resonant will offer maximum freedom of exploration for those players who want to discover everything about the new work from Sam Lake.
