Cooler Master have taken the gaming world by storm in the last few years with their epic CM Storm gaming brand, creating many high quality peripherals in their keyboard, mice and headset ranges. The latest reveal from the company follows on from the famous Sirus headset, a popular choice among many gamers and PC users, with the Sirus-C.
The Sirus-C offers up a pretty unusual 2.2 channel driver setup, this consists of a 44mm main driver and a dedicated 40mm subwoofer / bass driver in each ear, so you still get the powerful driver on the mid tones and high notes, but you also get a powerful low end thump without taking away from the main speaker. The extra power needed to drive the Cirus-C is delivered via the built-in USB sound card and amplifier, which combine to give a big boost to signal power.
A usual line-up of tricks and treats is included too, such as an in-line remote for on the fly volume adjustments, microphone master mute, chat volume control (console mode only), as well as PC and console mode switching. Durable headset construction, a built-in white LED logo and a pivoting boom microphone round off the feature set and still leaves the headset weighing in at just 465g, impressive.
Retail availability will begin around May for the SRRP of 84,95 EUR, the current launch only covers the EU, but other regions will likely follow in the near future.
