Installation

Before we play around with the radiator or pump, we’re going to need to install the new fans, which feature a five blade design, tuned to give massive airflow at low RPM, as well as low noise, which is pretty much what you want from any fan.

The fans come with a master switch on the back too, allowing you to cap the maximum RPM. They have a silent, quiet and performance option, so you can easily tailor their performance to suit your needs.

They come with incredibly durable mounts on the corners, each with anti-vibration washers.

The fans fit in place easily enough, and the included thumb screws make them quick and painless to install/remove.

We’re using an Intel CPU, but even if you’re using AMD, you simply use the included screws to fit on the brackets to the side of the pump.

Four plastic clips hold the mounting screws into the universal backplate which only takes a couple of minutes to put together.

Pop the backplate with the screws already in place on the back of your motherboard, then apply some thermal paste.

Mount your radiator in your chassis with the included screws, then simply screw down the pump over the CPU using the included thumb screws. Overall, the whole process is pretty straight forward and shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to complete.
