Cooler Master Turbine Master Mach 0.8 Fan Review

Final thoughts
Complete silence and cooling are what most PC enthusiasts want. It’s all well and good having a PC which is nice and cool, but if it sounds like a 747 taking off, it gets a bit silly. I had high hopes of this new fan, and it hasn’t disappointed. I only wish that I could adjust the fan speed and I’d probably have them all over my case. This could mean during a gaming session, I’m happy knowing my (once) expensive components are nice and cool and my girlfriend can watch whatever drivel on TV she wishes to without listening to my wind tunnel of a PC giving it all in the corner. My final minor gripe is the lack of instruction informing you how to remove the fan blades; though I’m sure I’ll figure it out with time and hopefully not break something.

If you are looking at something very quiet which still performs well, then look no further. This unit would be ideal for a HTPC setup or similar, I hope I can get my hands on some more so I could replace all fans in my PC to see the temperature differences then. I am fairly confident that my PC would be silent and temperatures would be within tolerable levels, although not as cool as it is now with the Yate Loons.

Pros:

  • Very quiet
  • Looks very cool
  • Well built

Cons:

  • Unable to change fan speed
  • Instructions could be better
