Cooler Master V6 GT CPU Cooler Review

AcousticsWhile situated in a room where background noise was kept to a minimum, we placed the sound level meter equal distances from our test system to measure the total noise output by the complete test system for each cooling configuration at 100% fan speed.

Where noise is concerned, the V6GT at 100% fan speed isn’t quiet by any stretch of the imagination! We wouldn’t really enjoy sitting next to this cooler with its fans ‘maxed’ 24/7. The Trinity was just over 6dbA quieter than the V6GT and stock fans, but the Scythe AP-15 fans mounted on the Cooler Master heatsink makes for a very quiet solution indeed.
