Inside the box is of course the mouse in a nice strong plastic packaging. There is also a user guide; however there is no Driver CD, although Cooler Master has assured us that there will be in the retail version of this product.
The User Guide is a very simple affair and doesn’t really tell you anything useful. The mouse has a two-tone finish, a very shiny metallic red and a matt black paint for all the buttons.
From the front of the mouse, you can see the standard left and right click buttons which are made of separate pieces of plastic. There is a standard looking scroll wheel and behind that are two buttons. These are for switching the CPI settings, one will increase it and the other will decrease it.
From the left-hand side you can see the forward and back buttons, but more importantly there is a black rubberised grip which allows your thumb to control the mouse accurately. There is a small grove to keep your thumb resting in the right place for the forward and backward buttons.
From the right hand side you can see the extra extension to the mouse which is designed to allow you to use the mouse with a claw-grip style. However, it should give support to your third and little finger with a normal grip.
From the bottom you see a very standard sight; it has two large slippy rubber feet. This is the standard underneath for a mouse, including the CM Storm logo and the serial number and made in China. The optical sensor is surrounded by 3500 DPI Storm Tactical Sesnor’.
