Copies Of Assassins Creed Shadows Leaked A Month Before Its Launch

Rumours are circulating that some individuals have acquired Assassin’s Creed Shadows before its March 20th launch. One player, having obtained a copy, even streamed gameplay. While leaks like these typically don’t significantly impact a game’s launch, Assassin’s Creed Shadows may well be Ubisoft’s last chance for success.
Assassins Creed Shadows Leak
Earlier today VGC and IGN reported that physical copies of Assassin’s Creed Shadows had somehow leaked and were already being sold on the secondary market.
One person posted on Twitter claimed to have bought one such copy on Facebook Marketplace and shared many images and videos of him playing the game both of which have been removed by Ubisoft. But more leaks have surfaced with a user on Reddit also posting his videos and images of the game and the box.
As mentioned before players have been streaming the leaked game on Twitch but it appears that they have been taken down quickly.
TheGamer also reported listings of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows appeared on an online retailer Mercari going for $100 each (roughly £80).
Assassins Creed Shadows
Since the game’s initial announcement, it has faced numerous complications, which you can read about here. So this is probably one of the worst things that could happen to them especially with so much on the line with many people seeing Assassin’s Creed: Shadows as their last chance before the company goes under.
But to be fair Assassin’s Creed Shadows does have a fair bit going for it with it being set in feudal Japan the home and place of Ninjas.
