The Performance 3 series SSD’s feature a SATA 6Gbps interface which is a first for Corsair and will be available with TRIM support and has background garbage collection.
The drive will come in 3 capacities starting with a 64GB version and 128GB version which should be favoured for RAID configurations and a more expensive 256GB too. All sizes will feature the Marvel 9174 controller, have a 128Mb cache and are said to be perfect for Intel Sandy Bridge chipsets.

One thing that we’re looking forward to, is 2 of these performance drives in a Raid 0 configuration, as judging by the speeds, it should be uber quick.
