Following on from our look at ADATA’s range of DDR4 modules, Corsair are also showing off a number of DDR4 modules. Designed for the consumer and enthusiast markets, we find two sets of modules on display, although only on plastic stands. Although any detailed specifications are not mentioned, we can take note that the Dominator Platinum Kits have the option of 2400MHz speeds, whilst a value select labelled kit bares less information, although we do know that it will come with a clock of no less than 2133MHz – the minimum for the DDR4 standard.

Aside from the speeds, the key difference between the value select and Dominator Platinum kits is certainly performance and in the world of RAM, if it is not the speed that brings the performance, then its is certainly the timings. Over a standard issue DDR4 module, the premium kits will run far tighter timings after going through a more stringent binning process.
