Corsair Graphite 380T Mini-ITX Chassis Review

Introduction

Corsair are back once again with a new entry to their Graphite series of chassis, which already plays host to some of the most popular gaming chassis on the market, such as the 760T, 600T, 730T and 230T, all of which have won countless awards around the world for their unique design, gamer friendly features and a whole lot more.

The new model, the 380T is the baby brother of the pack, the first in the Graphite series to be built for a mini-ITX form factor and it has been designed with portability in mind, making it (in theory) a great choice for a LAN gaming rig, but of course I’ll be trying to find that out for myself. Small size is one thing, but Corsair are not about to sell themselves short and the 380T is packed full of features that make it ideal for a high-end gaming PC. On top of that, this chassis features a very unique design that certainly stands out from the crowd. So let’s stop beating around the bush and get stuck in, because I’m eager to show you what this chassis has to offer.

As you can see from the specifications below, the chassis is very capable; there’s room for 2 x 120mm / 1 x 140mm / 1 x 200mm fans in the front, plenty of options for radiator installation, tool free hard drive bays for 3.5″ and 2.5″ drives and room for ATX PSUs of up to 160mm and graphics cards of up to 290mm.

The packaging is pretty straight forward, with a quick run down of the major features on the front and sides of the box.

Around the back we have a technical break down of all the major components.

In the box you’ll find a smaller box containing all the major screws and fittings you’ll require to install your components, as well as an easy to follow quick start guide.
