CORSAIR NIGHTSWORD v2 Wireless SD Brings Stream Deck Controls to a Gaming Mouse
Among the peripherals that CORSAIR presented at Computex 2026, the NIGHTSWORD v2 WIRELESS SD stands out. At first glance, it looks like a high-end gaming mouse, but CORSAIR added something special: a Stream Deck start button. This lets users control streaming and productivity tools directly from the mouse.
The main feature of this model is the Virtual Stream Deck overlay. By pressing the button, users can access shortcuts, launch skill combos, inventory actions, media controls, or actions in apps like OBS, Discord, or Spotify. CORSAIR also explains that the Virtual Stream Deck can be triggered from any of the eight programmable mouse buttons, giving plenty of customization options.

Beyond this integration, the NIGHTSWORD v2 WIRELESS SD is built for competitive gaming. The mouse works at 8,000 Hz in both wireless and wired mode to reduce input delay. It uses the MARKSMAN S sensor with up to 33,000 DPI, 99.7% accuracy, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50 G acceleration. Optical switches are rated for 100 million clicks.
The design is ergonomic for right-handed users with a strong thumb rest, making it comfortable for long sessions. CORSAIR also highlights a battery life of up to 170 hours, depending on 2.4 GHz use with RGB off and 1 kHz polling. Connectivity options include SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, or USB-C wired mode.
Mouse settings are managed through CORSAIR Web Hub. This allows users to reassign buttons, set up macros, adjust DPI, or control lighting without heavy software. This approach fits well with CORSAIR’s focus on quick access and versatility.
