As you can see in the video above, setting up the fans really is pretty straight forward. You hook up the fans to your motherboard, you hook up the fans to the hub, and you’re good to go. It really is that simple. Well, I say simple, you still have the small matter of routing quite a lot of freaking cables, but depending on your PC case, that can be an easy thing or a small nightmare.
I’m using an open-air bench, so what better way to show them off than leaving the fans right out in front on the table. As you can see, I have 3 x 120mm fans and 2 x 140mm fans. Because I did have two sets, I got two hubs too, but for the purpose of testing them, I only needed one, as each hub supports up to six fans. Keep in mind though, not all motherboards will support that many fans natively, so you may need splitter cables, and there weren’t any included.
