A few months ago, confidential product slides were leaked and posted in a Chinese forum about a few upcoming products from Corsair and one of them was the 900D “Godzilla” case.
The Extra Large full tower also called “Godzilla” on the leaked product slide comes with dimensions of 655 x 694 x 251 mm and up to 15 HDD/SSD slots with support for two 480mm or 360mm water cooling radiators, support for ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX and HP-ATX form factor motherboards, audio ports, 4x USB 3.0 ports and 2x USB 2.0 ports.
No one really knew whether the product was fake or not up until now.
Global Product Manager with the forum nickname “CorsairGeorge” put up a picture of the 900D T3 sample. The case looks more or less the same as expected but is probably a bit rough around the edges and needs some fine tuning before its ready for consumers.
Corsair’s product manager did not give much more information out, but he did say that there are four 5.25-inch bays, although they have no hot-swap feature. The T3 sample has two 480 radiators and two 240 radiators installed with 23 Corsair Airflow Series fans, out of which 22 are SP120s and one is an AF140. As can be clearly seen, there are four 120mm fans mounted before on the left side, so that’s the place to mount one 480mm radiator and the other is probably mounted on the opposite side.
Corsair George did post in the Overclock.net forums that he will be giving out more information next month. Hopefully, we will get to see this beast during January 2013’s CES event.
