Following their official release, the Corsair Gaming RGB peripherals are now available! We’ve already reviewed their impressive Corsair Gaming RGB K70 Mechanical Keyboard here, but that’s not all Corsair have to offer.

The new Corsair Gaming range now plays host to three mechanical gaming keyboards; The K95 RGB, K70 RGB and the K65 RGB. All of the keyboards are revisions of previous Corsair models, but all now come equipped with a choice of Cherry RGB MX switches and the new Corsair Utility Engine software.
The M65 mouse has also been given the RGB treatment; perfect for creating colour coordinated effects between your keyboard and mouse. The M65 RGB is available in both black and white.
Finally we have the H2100 and H1500 headsets, which don’t feature the same funky lighting, but they do come with the Corsair Gaming branding that will match up with the new range of peripherals.

I generally like Corsair products such as their cases and memory but I’ve never warmed to their keyboards, mice and headphones. Their headphones sound and work well enough, they are fairly comfortable as well but they look stupid perched on someones head with the huge gap between the head band and the head.
I tested 3 M6x series mice in my time and the side grips wore smooth very quickly on all of them, maybe my grip is unusual (claw grip) and it doesn’t feel comfortable in my hand.
The keyboards are fine but I don’t particularly like MX Red or Brown keyswitches (a personal thing) and I don’t like the backlighting reflecting off the aluminium base either (also a personal thing).
Although this RGB LED tech is a Corsair exclusive for the moment other manufacturers will surely follow and I can’t wait to see what Roccat brings to the party, they are my favourite gaming peripheral maker (again a personal thing).
