Corsair RMx Series RM1000X Power Supply Review

Packaging
The exterior packaging is easily recognizable as a Corsair product with the distinctive yellow and black coloring scheme. The front of the boxwork gives you a nice clear view of the power supply including some of the key highlights of its design such as the 80-Plus Gold efficiency rating and 10 year guarantee.
The rear of the packaging goes more into the technical details of this power supply. While the information provided is good (and certainly informative) overall I feel that this could’ve been a little better. I mean, it’s fine, but it does just mostly strike you as being a wall of text and a little more presentational gloss surely couldn’t have hurt!
Accessories
The accessories for the Corsair RM1000x are a little basic, but then again, you neither expect nor want masses of parts with a PSU. You’re provided with a booklet entitled ‘important information’ which mostly just contains information surrounding your guarantee. Corsair does, however, also provide you with all the screws necessary to fix this to your PC case as well as a pretty generous number of zip-ties.
