Crimson Desert Added to the Wishlist of Over 3 Million Players on PC and Console
With just over two weeks left before the launch of Crimson Desert on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, public interest continues to grow. The new open-world action RPG from Pearl Abyss, the studio known for Black Desert Online, is attracting strong attention ahead of release.
Pearl Abyss confirmed on social media that more than 3 million people have added the game to their wishlist on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store.
Wishlist Numbers Continue to Rise
This is an important milestone, especially considering that just one month ago the game had reached 2 million wishlists. The sharp increase suggests that recent previews, new trailers, and fresh details shared by the developers have helped boost the game’s visibility and strengthen player interest.
Although adding a game to a wishlist does not always mean a guaranteed purchase, these numbers are still a positive sign. This is particularly true for a new IP that is not tied to a long-running franchise or a major blockbuster studio.
Players will not have to wait much longer to see if Crimson Desert meets expectations. The game is scheduled to launch on March 19 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Reviews from the press are expected to be published a few days before release.
In other news, Pearl Abyss has confirmed that Crimson Desert will be a premium, single-purchase experience with no microtransactions or in-game cash shops at its launch.
