Crucial announced a new 128GB memory module for servers, and it is the largest module capacity from Crucial to date. The Crucial 128GB DDR4 LRDIMM 2666 MT/s server memory module will allow you to take your servers abilities to the max and install an impressive amount of total memory.

Operating Environment

The module is optimised for memory-dependent server applications like virtualization, in-memory database computing, and high-performance computing (HPC). All of these tasks require a massive amount of available RAM. These new server modules support a number of memory-intensive computing applications, such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Azure, VMware VDI, Cloudera, Hortonworks and SAP HANA.

Compatibility and Validation

Crucial naturally optimised the new memory modules for the Intel Xeon product family, both current and future. After all, those are the systems running these sort of modules.

Crucial tests each module to be 100 percent component- and module-tested to mission-critical server standards. That ensures quality from start to finish through a 34-stage manufacturing process and more than 100 tests and verifications.
