Cryorig H7 Quad-Lumi RGB CPU Cooler Review

A Closer Look

First impressions of the Quad-Lumi are very good indeed. The cooler comes with the fan pre-installed, although you will need to remove to actually mount the cooler. Either way, out of the box, we get a great look at the finished design, and I can see this looking stunning in virtually any system build.

The compact design is great, as it means that the cooler will not limit the size of your RAM modules. Plus, you can mount the fan on either side of the cooling tower, so even if you did hit a snag, it’s easily rectified.

The top plate is finished in a sexy matte black, and the heat pipes have been capped off too, keeping everything looking neat and tidy. The Cryorig logo in the middle is the main star here though, as it comes equipped with RGB lighting, allowing you to tweak the aesthetics.

You hav emore RGB lighting here too, with a strip of lighting on the bottom of the tower for some cool underlighting effects. Enough about the lights though, as you can also see the new quad heat pipe design, which Cryorig say is much more efficiency than their previous generation of coolers.

If we remove the fan, you can see that the airflow openings are quite large on one side of the tower.

However, they’re quite slim on the other side. This is to better control the speed of the airflow through the tower, and it’ll help dissipate more heat and help reduce noise from air turbulence.

Speaking of airflow, the included fan is of very nice quality too. It’s a Cryorig designed 1600rpm 12v 120mm model. It’ll look great in your build too, thanks to the braided cable. Nice touch on the rainbow coloured cables too Cryorig, subtle, but I noticed.
