When Crysis 2 launched, PC gamers were pissed off – Crytek’s CEO promised they’d pushed boundaries, but the game launched without DX11, or high-resolution textures. It took months for the patch to be released, and even then, it didn’t look mind blowing – not how the original Crysis did when it was launched as a PC-exclusive years beforehand.
Good news is here with Crysis 3, though, as the developer will be including high-res textures in the launch of the game. On top of this, there’ll be plenty of customisation available at launch, where you can change the following settings:
