Cyberpower Infinity C7 Corsair System Review

I think it’s fair to admit that I’ve built all my own PCs, but more often than not, I actually recommend pre-built systems to a lot of people, from friends and family, to many of our readers here at eTeknix. Why? Well, not only does it ensure you’re going to get components that are compatible, but also fully assembled and ready to rock. While some folks may enjoy searching and researching each component, waiting for multiple deliveries and working on putting it all together, it’s not always practical. If you’re at work all week and value your gaming time on the weekend, having a system turn up in a box that’s plug and play certainly has its appeal.

Infinity C7 Corsair Next Day PC SY3042

I often find myself sounding like a stuck record when it comes to pre-built PCs, especially from such reputable brands as CyberPowerPC. As while they offer a lot of convenience, they also offer a few other fantastic protections. Firstly, they have serious buying power, allowing them to get better deals on components vs what you’ll find in stores, meaning most pre-built systems are cheaper to buy that if you bought the parts yourself. Which makes the second point even more appealing, the inclusion of a warranty, adding a great level of stability to your purchase.

Custom Configuration

The system we’re testing today is the Infinity C7 Corsair Next Day PC SY3042, the key part being “next day” as it’s one of their most popular systems, so can turn them around get one shipped to you in record time. Of course, they offer a wide range of custom built options on their website, and there’s options for plenty of interesting add-ons, such as a gaming monitor, headset, keyboards, mice, ensuring you can order everything you need in one go.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D & RTX 5090

This custom-built PC is a gaming powerhouse designed for extreme performance, centered around the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and the cutting-edge Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU featuring 32GB of GDDR7 memory. The system is built on a MSI PRO B850-S WIFI6E motherboard, with a 2TB WD Black M.2 SSD, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM, and the fantastic Corsair RM1000e 1000W Gold-Certified fully modular PSU powering it all. The system is also very well equipped for cooling, thanks to the airflow focused Corsair Air 5400 PC case, which comes equipped with premium AF120 ARGB fans, as well as the latest Corsair Nautilus 360mm AIO Liquid Cooler with premium Thermal Grizzly paste. Overall, this is all some of the best high-end gaming hardware on the market today, so I’m expecting pretty killer performance in our upcoming benchmarks.

Building a PC yourself is one thing, but a full system warranty and support is something that cannot be understated, especially given how hard it can be to track all the component warranties yourself should something happen to your beloved system.
