Cyberpunk 2077 Has Sold 35 Million Copies
We all know that CD Projekt Red is already working on a sequel to the popular Cyberpunk 2077 — a game that has pushed hardware to its limits and has often been used for performance tests on even the most powerful NVIDIA gaming GPUs.
The game, which will soon celebrate its 5th anniversary since its launch on December 10, 2020, can now boast impressive sales numbers that many studios would dream of reaching.

The popular game, set in a futuristic world dominated by cybernetics, has sold an astonishing 35 million copies. CD Projekt Red updated its sales figures, confirming that the game has become the company’s main source of income. CD Projekt Red Completes Pre-Production on the Cyberpunk Sequel
The studio is now focused on delivering a new entry in the Cyberpunk universe, and it appears that pre-production has already been completed. CD Projekt Red has 135 developers currently assigned to the project. Meanwhile, another major project is underway — the fourth installment of The Witcher series — with nearly 450 developers working on it.
So far, there are no official release dates for either the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel or The Witcher 4. However, the latter is not expected to arrive before 2027.
