Days Gone is Coming to PC With Requirements Confirmed

Sony yesterday confirmed that another former PlayStation exclusive was coming to the PC. Yes, Days Gone was officially breaking out from the PS4, and, better still, it would be arriving in seemingly the very near future! – While we don’t have a confirmed release date beyond Spring 2021, however, we do have something very interesting indeed.

Want to know if your system is good enough to play this upcoming port? Well, following the launch of the official Steam store website, we (perhaps surprisingly) already have our full and confirmed PC requirements!

Days Gone – PC Requirements!

We should note that with no formal release date yet confirmed, these specifications listed below may not necessarily represent the full and final requirements. They should, however, certainly work as a guideline to see if your PC is going to be good enough or not!

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bits
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K@3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300@3.5GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4 GB)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 70 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD for storage and 16 GB of memory is recommended

Recommended:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bits
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K@3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X@3.5GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 70 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD for storage is recommended

What Do We Think?

Overall, the specifications are more than a little benign and we’d think that most of you shouldn’t have too many difficulties getting this game to run well on your PC. I mean, an AMD FX 6300?… No offence to those who are still happily using that, but that CPU is coming up for 10 years old now and, without genuinely wishing offence, processor wise, we’re in potato country here!

If you do, incidentally, want to learn more about the game, you can check out the official Days Gone Steam store website via the link here!
