DeepCool AK620 Digital Pro CPU Cooler Review
Performance
The AK620 Digital Pro is a powerful cooler, but keep in mind that with 120mm fans and its slightly more compact size, it’s one of the smaller coolers we’ve tested in a while. So while it looks like it’s underperforming here, it’s really just up against a massive array of powerful and expensive AIO coolers. At 90c under full load, it’s keeping up with the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5, and you’ll struggle to find anyone who says the Dark Rock Pro 5 isn’t a great cooler. Once optimised, the performance improved greatly, just 74c with our undervolted and overclocked i9, which is actually enough to match the amazing DeepCool Assassin IV.

Acoustic performance is pretty decent too, and while the more expensive Noctua and be quiet! products take the lead for air cooling acoustic performance, the AK620 is actually still very close to that of the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5. Given it’s also a bit more compact and slightly more affordable, that’s certainly impressive, but as I said, DeepCool are one of the leading brands for air cooler design in recent years, and it’s easy to see why based on this performance.
