DeepCool CH160 & CH170 Digital Mini-ITX Case Review
A Closer Look – Interior
DeepCool has a great level of quality and attention to detail in their cases, even on these £50-60 products, and I love that. The side panels are not tool free, with two screws holding each side panel, and four for the top panel. While this makes it slower to access, it does make it more robust. I appreciate there are some foam strips on the tempered glass too, so it fits snug, and doesn’t vibrate or rattle.

With the glass removed, there’s a decent amount of space in here, with the full length of the case available for your graphics card, and room to spare for a few fans too.

With airflow on all sides, there’s no doubt your hardware will get all the air it needs. Even if you didn’t add additional fans, I suspect it’ll perform quite well.

All the internal cables are black with black connectors, so they’ll blend into the shadows quite well. Plus, there’s a female-to-male PSU cable extension so you can pass it through to the PSU mount towards the front of the case.

Behind the motherboard, there’s pretty much nothing. A small cable routing clip on the right there, and some cut-aways, but that’s about it really.

The CH170 is basically the same inside, with the only difference that the “back” is now on the bottom, with a large recess here to accommodate USB connectors, HDMI cables and such.
