DeepCool DQ850-M-V2L Power Supply Review

Fan Speed

Unlike many power supplies that may alter their fan speed depending on the power output, the DeepCool DQ850-M-V2L seems to run at a fairly static level. Throughout all of our load tests, we found that the fan speed was generally consistent between 940RPM – 975RPM.

In terms of noise levels, this is hardly noticeable and when installed in a chassis, I daresay you’d barely hear this at all! A pretty positive factor when you consider that this power supply does not have a ‘zero’ or ‘hybrid’ function.
