For a 240mm cooler, the Deepcool Captain 240 Pro provides some very impressive results across all of our testings. Starting with the temperatures, the cooler finds itself in our top ten under both standard operation and when an overclock is applied. As you can see (comparing it to other cools on the chart) this beats off many you would’ve expected to have a clear advantage over this.
If you’re wondering if noise is a weak point, you’d be wrong. Even when overclocked the fans remained surprisingly quiet. Even the ‘bursts’ (which is not uncommon when you overclock an AIO liquid cooler) were few and far between.
The results might not be mind-blowingly amazing, but they are surprisingly solid and impressive.
