DeepCool Gammaxx L240 V2 AIO Liquid Cooler Review

Installation

Starting with the accessories, DeepCool has (thankfully) provided them within specific AMD or Intel packages to ensure you only use the parts that are required for your chipset.

The manual is also excellent. While it is a little light on the language, the diagrams are nice and clear to follow.

Of course, there’s no quick solution to getting the fans attached to your radiator and the screws themselves are unusually tight. Nothing a bit of elbow grease can’t solve though.

Fitting the right socket to the pump head is (frankly) awkward work. It’s one of those jobs that ideally requires 3 hands. One to hold the clip in place, one to hold the screw and one to turn the screwdriver.

It isn’t impossible, but a magnetic screwdriver is definitely your friend here!

Overall, from out of the box and onto the system, the DeepCool Gammaxx L240 V2 took us around 20 minutes to fit. This is about the standard from an AIO perspective. While there were trickier aspects, it’s certainly no more notable harder than most models.

In fact, the excellent manner in which the tools and information are provided to you makes this a lot easier than most!
