Deepcool is announcing the latest addition to their Gamer Storm family they are calling the New Ark 90SE. This yet another new variant of the New Ark 90. They have previously launched the regular and the limited edition orange Electro model. Now, the new New Ark 90SE model brings digital Addressable RGB (ARGB) support. That means users do not even need a motherboard with an ARGB header.
Users can plug in up to six ARGB devices into the chassis’ built-in hub. Although users with a motherboard that does have an ARGB header can also connect the hub to their board. Essentially expanding the amount of headers available.
The chassis retains the same base features as the original. Including tempered glass side panels, integrated acrylic-enclosed LED strips and more. These LED strips are now of course, ARGB compatible. So users will be able to set a different light per LED rather than the same colour for the entire strip at the same time.
In terms of component support, video cards up to 310mm in length can be installed by default. Using the vertical mounting, even longer 400mm video cards are usable.
For users who want to swap out the cooler, a regular heatsink up to 186mm tall can fit. The front can also accept a 240mm or 360mm radiator. Although the HDD cage at the bottom must be removed to fit a 360mm radiator. Another 240mm or 360mm radiator can be installed at the top as well.
This new refresh of the New Ark 90 is expected to retain the $299 USD MSRP. Note that the price includes an integrated 360mm Deepcool Castle AIO RGB cooler (the original using an older Captain 360 model). Hence it costs more than other full-tower cases.
It is not clear yet whether Deepcool intends to release a version for a lower price without the cooler.
