DeepCool RGB 360 Magnetic Lighting Kit Review

Introduction

Getting the right look for your system build has never been easier, with most manufacturers now offering graphics cards, motherboards and other components in a decent range of colour options. The only downside is that for an existing system build, upgrading to new hardware or going for RGB options can often add a hefty price premium. Even upgrading your fans to RGB models can add quite a premium to your build, which is where RGB lighting kits come into play. Not only can you keep your existing components as they are, you can also quickly and easily add them, making them a very attractive add-on for your build.

The RGB 360 from DeepCool allows you to quickly install multi-colour lighting to your build with ease, as well as quickly change and customise the colours on the fly to suit your taste.

  • Fixed by magnet, suitable for iron surface only
  • 360°Omni- directional radio frequency remote control
  • 10 meters ultra remote control
  • Touch control with high sensitivity
  • 16.8million colors LED stepless adjustable
  • 20 seconds power saving mode automatically for remote controller

The lighting kit is well equipped, with three LED strips, magnetic fittings for a quick and easy installation, a remote control for quick customisation and Molex powered, ensuring easy compatibility with your PSU.

The packaging is nice and simple, showing off the colours on the front, as well as the main features. There’s a small cut-out window section, but what purpose it’s meant to serve is beyond me.

Around the back, a quick run-down of the included components, as well as the remote control. Another key point here is that it doesn’t include the 3 x AAA batteries for the remote, which isn’t ideal, so remember to pick those up when you place your order.

In the box, you’ll find the remote, power cables, three LED strips and a bundle of cable ties to help keep things looking neat and tidy.
