Delta Force to Add Console-Only Crossplay and Keyboard-Mouse Support
The developers at Team Jade have announced the upcoming features arriving with the next season of Delta Force, titled Ahsarah, scheduled for November 18. Among the most anticipated updates is a major patch for the PlayStation and Xbox versions, bringing new features highly requested by the community.
Console-Only Crossplay Option
The main new addition is the option to enable crossplay exclusively between consoles, excluding PC players. In addition, native keyboard and mouse support will be introduced. When using these peripherals, the system will automatically enable crossplay with PC users.
That’s not all. The update will also bring an overall improvement to the crossplay system, more precise aim control with the right stick and smoother movement with the left stick, new sensitivity presets, quick invites for friends, and the ability to adjust the interface size, which has also been optimized. All of this comes with more than 800 bug fixes.
Beyond console-specific improvements, the Ahsarah season will also introduce two new maps — Monument (Warfare mode) and Zero Dam (Operations mode) — as well as a new operator, Gizmo, the MK4 submachine gun, the Adage knife, and a series of exclusive weapon skins.
In other gaming news, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said the company works with a mindset of being “always scared” to stay alert and avoid becoming too comfortable.
