We are primarily a hardware review website, but from time to time we may take a look at a gadget or electrical product that isn’t made as such for computers but still has a good connection with the principle behind them. Our curiosity is always peaked when we see an item that is different from the norm and breaks the mould as they say.
Today certainly does that as we take a look at a very unique item from the Netherlands. Designcord are a fairly new company who believe they can offer a solution to some of the most common faced problems with power extension leads and cable reels.
That brings us on to the product we’re looking at today. Designcord have come up with a autorewinding cable reel extension lead that has a lot of unique features including fixed sockets and overheating protection but is this really an answer to what consumers want or is it just a fad that no one really wants?
