Deus Ex: Human Revolution PC Review

In conclusion, This games lives up to everything it was meant to. With superb DX11 graphics to keep you smiling along the way it has quite a few wow moments, cinematic and game play wise.

The controls are pretty easy to grasp and will leave most players happy with the original setup.

With 25+ Hours of game play on the medium difficulty setting, it’s not the shortest of games either. That in conjunction with the replay factor leaves plenty of fun to be had.

The story is vast, and will leave you hungering for more if you don’t figure it all out first time ’round, be sure to take the game slowly to take it all in. Besides the main story and that of your past, reading in to the personal lives of others is a rather entertaining thing in itself. You’ll find yourself hacking most computers to find all the juicy info.

There is a few things that could have been improved, but to many players it’s just something that passes by… Bosses, why? Could have easily been left out and the game enjoyed just as much if not more.

City hubs, could have been at least one more. With there only being two, one in Detroit and one in Heng Sha, it would have been nice to find a few more places to sell off weapons and buy ammunition, and even Praxis points.

Multiplayer…. There isn’t one. Though this may not necessarily be a bad thing, not everybody enjoys multiplayer games and Deus Ex may not quite be the kind of genre to need one. Who knows, they may release a patch in the future to incorporate it.

If however you’ve finished the game, played it through as many times as you can but are still left wanting more, fear not. The DLC is scheduled for release in October and should keep you happy for a few more hours. (hopefully more!)

Eidos Montreal have done a superb job here, and hopefully will do so in the future. This game is a definite must buy for anybody who enjoys FPS or RPG styled games.
